What I have learned

I have learned how to use photoshop a little bit. I had not used photoshop previously. I seem to have a knack for it. I really liked the rule of thirds, it helped me understand how to take a picture pleasing to the eye. I have also learned how to change colors, add text, change ratios, cut, copy, paste, add, remove images from pictures. I feel this all came to me really easy I think because I have been messing around with paint and other programs from Windows since Windows nt 4.

macro shots

Taking macro shots of moving or living things in difficult. As you can see my little cousin Kennedy moved and caused a little blur. My mom's cat Jingles moved as well and made the shot not up to my standards. While the cast iron fencing and the door did not move and they came out well.

Dynaminc Relationship Landscape

Framing shots

I took these at my friend Jesse's house

What is it?

Different Perspectives

Rule of Thirds

The bottom photo is using the rule of thirds and the top I placed the roses in the center. When I place the roses in the center, the plant on the right seems to be what i was taking a picture of.

There is the principle of thirds as we learned in class and there is also dynamic symmetry. Take your picture and cut it in half corner to corner. Then go from the center of the line to the corner of the frame. Just like the principle of thirds, you want your object of interest at the lines intersection.
